Live music, great atmosphere. They had jenga and connect four which was a lot of fun. We got our drinks fast, not amazing but above average I would say. I dont drink all that much but my brother is a bartender. Everyone was nice and i had a great time! Everyone was singing along to Green Day and Oasis the night I was there.

Going away party, crowded, loud, SO much fun, like covid never existed!!! Service was excellent, prices were right. Everyone had a great time.

Bree was my bartender tonight and she was amazing! I moved from South Dakota and this was the first bar I went to after I came here and she was super warm and welcoming and we had some great conversations. She was super nice and made me feel super welcome there. Me and two friends went there and she made sure we always had a cold drink and again was super friendly. I will definitely be returning!

Always a great time at Kilkenny's. From Stevie's delicious food options to the many friendly bartenders, Kil's is well worth your time.

The downtown of Davenport has a variety of restaurants, cafes, and bars available to visit over the weekend. After meeting some work compatriots and friends at an apartment close by, we were convinced by one of our cohort to walk several blocks through the cold December air to visit Kilkenny's Pub. There's not much to say about Kilkenny's that could be said about other similar establishments in downtown Davenport or, for that matter, any other comparable downtown in any number of other cities. There's a large central bar area with multiple bartenders and servers. There's also a secondary bar area and kitchen in a room over. For this point in the night, I only desired Diet Coke and water, which the bartender quickly provided. While this quick service was great given the high occupancy of the establishment, the general noise level was excessive. My general preferences when going out with a group are locations where I don't have to scream at whoever I'm with just to communicate. The saving grace to the excessive noise level was the option of Karaoke on this Friday night. Since next to no one was partaking, I chose to take up the microphone, singing my own terrible renditions of such titles as "The Wizard" by Black Sabbath, "Double Vision" by Foreigner, and "Xanadu" by Olivia Newton John. What I don't have in skill, I make up for in confidence and delivery. To my preference, I wouldn't come back here again (the noise level alone puts me off the establishment). For the purposes of a review on google, however, I wouldn't rate somewhere less favorably over something such as that due to my own environmental preferences. In summary, I'd put forth that if you want a loud time involving alcohol and various different strangers in downtown Davenport, Kilkenny's pub should suffice. It's a corner bar with a lot of natural light. It had the feel of a real local place where the bartender and the customers had quite the rapport. It also has a kind of whimsical vibe as evidenced by the urinal made from an old keg. Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, beer to...

This bar and Macs are the only one that pour a good drink. The other ones will rip you off or stop you at the door for an arbitrary dress code like they think they're in Chicago or something
